Athenas' poop BOMBS
Sorry for no updates in a while, I have been very busy these few weeks.
Today we had dinner with my father at our place. It was fun! I mad egg salad and a noodles wok with a glass of delicious wine.
Not a CHANCE.
Athena and Handaya are getting along now. Thank God for that. Before they were BFF the house was like a war zone. Especially in the mornings when we get down from the bed we have to watch out for Athenas’ poop BOMBS. Which hasn’t stopped yet, but we hope she soon learns to go out if she wants to loo.
Nest week, on the 19th of May 2012 in Kulturnatta Umeå, I will be performing. In the “stora scenen” at about 2 pm. (14.00) Hope to see you all there!
Bubu is very happy with the sofa I brought! So here is the sofa I was talking about.

Welcome home Athena!

Puppy!!!

A Surprise is near!
Today I had a National test. It went well, I wrote an essay of two and a half pages! And hope for the best as always =)
Today I'm going to give bubu a real surprise, as some of you know we have newly moved into a apartment and have absolutely nothing there so this month we have been doing nothing but buying things.
As I said I badly want a little puppy and since I don't have so much money bubu and I made a deal. The deal is: If I buy a sofa he'll buy the puppy I want. It's kinda like a game the one who buys first wins! But what he doesn't know is I have already won! =D
A DEAL IS A DEAL! ;)

Something new for our home

Today's special!
Today I want to share with you all how to make Caribbean rolls. A delicious delicacy for everyone in the family! It's a good snack for your visitors before the main course, or just as a bite when you are watching TV.
Ingredients:
For the inner mixture:
2 tins of Tuna fish
2 Onions
2 tomatoes
2 Green chilies
5 potatoes
1 garlic clove
1 small ginger piece
1 tsp. black pepper
Salt
2 tsp. of lime or lemon
Curry leafs
1 tsp. chili powder
For the roll:
1 packet of Findus smördeg
2 eggs
Breadcrumbs
Preparation:
1. Always begin with your inner mixture. Let the potatoes boil. Cut all the ingredients for the mixture into small pieces and keep to a side. Take the Findus smördeg out and keep it to defrost for 20 min (read the packet)
2. Heat a large frying pan or a wok pan with oil. Add a little butter for better taste, when the oil is heated add the garlic and ginger together. When it gets a light brown color add 1-3 curry leafs.
3. Add onions in to the pan, let it fry for some time and then add the chilies and tomatoes and mix well.
4. Open the tuna tins and strain out the water or oil that’s inside the tin, and then put the tuna into the pan and mix well. See to that the tuna is well fried and cooked and add chili powder. Reduce the heat.
5. Cut the potatoes into small pieces and add to the pan, mix well and smash all the big potato pieces. Now add salt and pepper. And after you off the heat add lime/lemon.
Make the rolls! Remember now you have to work fast!
6. Take the pastry out and cut the long pasty into two so in the end you’ll have 10 rolls out of 5 pastry plates.
7. Take one of those pastries and add the inner mixture in the middle and roll it so that the mixture is inside the roll. Do like this to all the rolls.
8. Break the eggs into a large plate and beat it nicely. Put the breadcrumbs into a similar plate.
9. Carefully take the rolls you made and dip it into the egg mixture, see to that all sides of the roll are covered with egg.
10. Heat a wok pan with oil. We are going to deep fry these rolls so you’ll need a lot of oil. See to that you have almost half of the pan covered with oil.
11. Take the roll out from the egg mixture and put it into the breadcrumb plate and roll it carefully so that all sides are coved with breadcrumbs.
12. Put the rolls into the heated oil. When the rolls are light brown take them out. Now your Caribbean rolls are ready! Enjoy the rolls with ketchup.
Bon Appétit!
A little dog it shall be!
We were in Djurmagasinet a few days ago to buy something for Handay (our cat) . And when we were standing near the counter, I noticed that in front of us was an old lady standing with her cute dog. He was so beautiful and every handsome! Ever since I was a little girl I have loved animals and I had all kinds of pets; Love birds, Parrots, Gold fish, angel fish, tank cleaners, squirrels, cats and believe me or not when I owned a dolphin too! She was from a "Save the dolphins" in Austria. Every dolphin has its owner there; it's like "djur fadder" in Sweden. But now I don't really have any contact with that organization but I sure she is fine.
But back to the point... I had all the pets I ever wanted except a dog =( . So I put my little puppy eyes on and looked at my beloved husband and he said "If you find a puppy, yes we'll buy it" !! Haaaaaleeelujjjaaaaaa! So we are going to buy a puppy soon.
I was thinking of a Golden Retriever at first but then one of my friends told me they smell a lot. I don't want the whole apartment to smell dog so I thought of a Shetland sheepdog (Sheltie). Hope they don't smell that much. =D
